Kossuth Lajos Park
Kossuth Lajos Park
Opposite the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church there is a small park named in 2002 as Kossuth Lajos Park according to Decision No. 42 of Ditro village Council. A marble memorial column is placed in the park, commemorating the heroes of World War I. and II and a travertine monument placed in 1980. The newest ornaments of the Kossuth Lajos Park are the wooden headboards set up to commemorate our Conquering leaders. The wooden headboards mentioning the seven leaders are made of poplars wood. On the headboards can be read inscriptions in Latin and with runic script the names of the seven leaders. In the middle of the square, where Árpád is rounded by the seven leaders in semi-circle form, you will find a block of marble, an old tombstone, on which the following message is written: „2013 – In memory of our conquering leader”.
